About Premier Sport Conditioning

Mission Statement

At PSC our mission is to provide an optimal physical and psychological training environment for each athlete that will develop measurable improvements in athletic performance.


Our Team

Jamie Ganz

Jamie Ganz is a Sport Performance Coach with Premier Sport Conditioning and is also in charge of continuing education for PSC coaches. Jamie grew up in the Cleveland area and attended Brush High School. During his high school years he played sports and grew an interest on how the physiology of movement applies to athletics. He furthered his education at Lakeland Community College, where he also pitched for the baseball team. Jamie then attended Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee on a baseball scholarship. While a pitcher at APSU, he was part of the Ohio Valley Conference championship team and advanced to the College World Series. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. Upon graduation, Jamie completed an internship at Max Sports Center in Columbus where he trained athletes ranging from high school to the professional level and furthered his knowledge of sport-specific training. Once Jamie completed his internship, he played professional baseball in the Independent League where he gained valuable experience. Jamie’s combination of educator and former professional athlete help him relate to the individual needs of athletes.



Aaron Bieniek

Aaron is a Sport Performance Coach with Premier Sport Conditioning and received his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Urbana University in Sport Science.  Aaron is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning specialist.  Prior to joining Premier Sport Conditioning, Aaron played competitive soccer on the varsity team at Urbana University.  Aaron then participated in an internship at Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning in Winchester, Massachusetts.  At Boyle's, Aaron gained valuable experience while working with athletes of all different abilities  He also was the acting Strength and Conditioning coach for the women's basketball team at Urbana University for the 2007, 2008 season.   

 



 

 

Mike Caza, Founder / Director of Performance

Mike Caza is recognized as a leader in the field of athlete development. This is due to the extraordinary results he has helped athletes achieve. Caza’s unparalleled training methods have attracted top-level athletes to seek out PSC’s guidance. These athletes range from Olympians to professional athletes to countless youth, high school, and college athletes and teams. Caza was himself a successful world class track athlete having represented the Canadian National track team worldwide. Mike has received numerous awards for his accomplishments throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa where he high jumped 7’5 measuring 18 inches over his standing height of 5’11.

Caza was taught and coached by some of the top speed and power minds in the world that include Dan Pfaff (coached over 60 Olympians including Donovan Bailey, Olympic 100 meter champion) and Milt Ottey (6th place finish in 1984 Olympics).

Caza graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Exercise Science and is certified with distinction through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Mike has had over 15 articles published in national publications on athlete development and has conducted numerous clinics and seminars throughout Northeast Ohio. Mike’s unique experience as both world-class athlete and coach has enabled him to translate this success into helping athletes of all ages, skill levels, and sports enhance their athletic performance.


The Difference

PSC athletes have an impressive reputation for success. We will continue to raise the bar higher and set ourselves apart as leaders in the field of athlete development. It is significant to know that the PSC Staff are Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists and have studied and trained with some of the top speed and power experts in the world including Donovan Bailey (Olympic 100 meter champion), Milt Ottey (6th place 1984 Olympics - high jump), and Doc Counsilman (coach of 7-time Olympic gold medalist Mark Spitz) to name a few. Our broad range of knowledge and experience acquired over the years has enabled us to devise a systematic, structured athlete conditioning program for all sports that uses progressive sequences of drills and exercises that are based on:

  • developmental level of the athlete
  • age
  • biomechanics
  • body type
  • physical ideosyncracies
  • injury history
  • current training
  • sports played

Training Philosophy

PSC incorporates a multi-dimensional approach to training athletes that generates results. Each athlete possesses unique characteristics that need to be channeled in the right direction and developed using the proper training prescription for optimal athletic performance. Our team is here solely to provide each athlete with the physical tools that support skill execution on the "playing field."
